Our Projects.
A tele pharmacy service for Hong Kong’s diverse communities, offering virtual and in-person healthcare counselling and education to bridge gaps.
Medi Help offers tailored healthcare services for Pakistani and Indian communities, providing minor ailment treatment, chronic disease medication management, and multilingual health education in Urdu/Hindi. By overcoming language barriers and minimizing errors, we empower patients to manage chronic diseases like diabetes and hypertension effectively.
Medi Help is an innovative program designed to bridge healthcare gaps for Hong Kong’s multicultural communities, with a focus on serving Pakistani and Indian populations. Our team of culturally competent registered pharmacists delivers accessible care through a dual approach of virtual and in-person services, including:
- Minor Ailment Service: Accessible remote guidance via phone/WhatsApp & physical consultations for minor ailments like colds, rashes, and allergies etc.
- Medication Management Service: Culturally sensitive medication counselling for chronic disease patients, covering medication review, medication reconciliation, side-effect management, and drug interaction prevention to promote safe medication practices.
- Multicultural Health Education Ambassador Training: Empowers community members through specialized training to become health education ambassadors, fostering peer-to-peer education.
- Drug Related Problems (DRPs): Through a structured system identifies, monitors, and addresses medication errors and adverse events, generating data-driven insights to advocate for improvements and reduce avoidable complications.
